Nintoku tenno-ryo Kofun (ancient mounded tomb)
This keyhole-shaped tomb, constructed in the mid-5th century, is the largest kofun (ancient mounded tomb) in Japan. The mound measures about 486 meters in length, and it is surrounded by a triple moat. The Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, including this colossal tomb, is an aspiring World Heritage site.
